Welcome back so I thought I would dedicate this post to the regular beauty products I use. I decided to photograph my actual products rather than show you the ones from websites as you can see how well used and loved these are by me.
- Avene -Gentle Milk Cleanser. I love French beauty products and this cleanser is exactly what it says gentle and milky. I believe you can get Avene products from Priceline and My Chemist Warehouse
- La Roche-Posay Soothing Lotion. Another French beauty classic that leaves you feeling fresh and clean after a cleanse. You can get this from Priceline.
- Kate Somerville Gloat Milk Moisturising Cream. A beautiful light moisturiser that is such a pleasure to wear under your makeup. This can be bought at Mecca.
I adore the Eve Lom Moisture Mask and I use it twice a week to ensure my skin gets that extra hydration it deserves and best of all its a leave on mask no need to wash it off.
I am pretty classic and love these products for the base. I use the Maybelline concealer for under the eyes and the MAC mineralize skinfinish to set the stunning Armani foundation. If you haven’t tried this you are missing out. The Hourglass foundation stick is in a few shades darker for contouring.
I am in love with the Kevyn Aucoin mascara range. The super thin wand and brush means you have control over the application and can build the volume up and up. My go to eyeliner is by Eyeko London and is apparently what Alexa Chung uses. Her eyes look amazing so it was worth a try and have to say its the easiest liquid liner I have used. A new product I have tried is the 3ina (pronounced Mina) automatic eye pencil. The products are great with a fantastic colour range from super crazy bright and lovely neutrals. Did I tell you the whole range is affordable. I believe 3ina is a Spanish brand and new in the market and I have seen stores open across Melbourne over the last few months. Definitely worth checking out.
If you have not heard of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette you must get your hands on this now! It leaves such a beautiful finish. I personally struggle with blush and I have finally found the perfect one Benefit Dandelion Dew which is a liquid blush and looks fantastic on.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz is the best brow product I have ever used. Its super fine and fills in any gaps. Also, from Anastasia is the powder contour kit which I swear by. A new purchase is the Cover FX customer enhancer drops which can be used as a highlighter on its own or can be mixed with foundation. Its not on the Aus Sephora website but you can get it instore!
Thats it! I know I have failed to mention eyeshadows and lipsticks but that will have to wait for another day. Happy week everyone!!!
